Initiating Project Foundations: Strategies for New Beginnings

The beginning to Transformation

Embarking upon a transformative journey within an organisation, especially as a newcomer, is similar to setting sail into uncharted waters. The charted course, as laid down by the co-founders, often serves as the initial compass. However, every sailor knows the importance of understanding the winds and the waves, the real forces at play. Here’s how I navigate through this expedition:

1. Conversations at Every Corner: At the outset, my first endeavour is to engage in conversations with individuals across all echelons. The wisdom in the words of the many often illuminates the blind spots in the vision of the few. Through these dialogues, I validate or challenge the defined problem statement, unearthing any red flags that might lie beneath the surface. These interactions not only provide a deeper insight into the prevailing issues but also sow the seeds of trust with team members. This trust is the cornerstone of the collaborative spirit needed to drive change.

2. The Observational Odyssey: With a preliminary understanding in hand, I embark on an observational odyssey.
